Activating the Admin Panel


In order to activate the Admin Panel one must enter the following Typoscript in the root template:


config.admPanel = 1


and if one wants to enable the Admin Panel for non admin users then the following Typoscript needs to be added to User TSconfig? of that particular user:


admPanel.enable.edit = 1


This will enable the panel but if you need to add further options to it you can use the settings: preview, cache, publish, tsdebug, info

Usage


Simulate time


One can use the Admin Panel to simulate a certain time in order to check if content displays adequately at different points in time (it might be a content element that only displays between certain hours).
