How to enable the upload of images from RTE

To be able to upload images directly from RTE you need to

Step 1

activate image upload from the RTE configuration in the Extension Manager:

How to do it:
  • Go to the Extension Manager
  • click the name of the extension (htmlArea RTE)
  • check the option Enable images in the RTE
  • save the options

Step 2

enter the following line in the TS config of your backend user (even admin users need this)

options.uploadFieldsInTopOfEB = 1



Logout and login again and image upload in RTE should work.
